Daft questions get placed in this section. If any question is not answered here feel free to drop me an email at tstuke@hotmail.com. Be sure to give the email the title “Psyomaster Ryuken question”. Please be aware that I will not answer any spoiler-based questions but I will reply to you as soon as I can.

Q: Hey what rating is Psyomaster Ryuken?
A: I hope parents and youngsters read this question first since i'm not putting a disclaimer anywhere else on this site. With strong themes of violence, sex, horror and vulgarities amongst other things this is not meant for anyone under the age of 18.

Q: How did this comic come about?

A: Started off in 1999 officially, based on a comic i did. As recent as 2003 onwards i adapted similar ideas from that comic into my current writing and fiction.

Q: Where can I read the story?
A: Episodes and Comics

Q: What is Kouryu Sukuinushi
A: That was the name of Psyomaster Ryuken in its early stages.

Q: Why did you abandon the anime trend for this work? Will it make a comeback?
A: Because i no longer need to rely on it and anime doesn't interest me as much as it once did (not to knock the stuff i still like).

Besides, Otakus are cunts. :)

Q: Like...are you bald? XD
A: I'm borderline skinehead at the moment actually.

Q: Who are your influences as an arty person?
A: Deep breathe…
Tetsuo Hara, Burne Hogarth, Angel Midona, Frank Frazetta, Hitoshi Okuda, Dave Mckean, Takashi Akakhizawa, Simon Bisley, Bruce Timm, Jim Murray, bit of Walt Disney, Kenichi Sonoda, bit of Marasume Shirow, Greg Capullo, Ashley Wood, Tex Avery, Don Bluth, George Braque, bit of Picasso, Cezanne, Andre Derain, HR Giger, Van Gogh George Seurat, Georges Roualt, Paul Rubens, David Bircham, Hui King Sum, Tony Wong, Capcom artists, bit of Udon. That's about it.
Current favs are Bisley, Murray, Sum, and Hara.

Q: What are your favourite web comics?
A: Mangagaga and Cosmic hero for starters since they were the two that got me into webcomic in particular. Other honourable mentions include Dr Mcninja, Edible dirt, and the usual stuff.

Q: What are you mediums?
A: For the writing, a good keyboard, a computer with word and decent performance. For art I use pencils, acrylic\gouache paints, marker pens, inks, Adobe Photoshop with scanner. Occasionally I integrate photography into my work using a digital camera but i haven't done that in ages as of this moment in time.

Q: Can I give you giftart of your works?
A: Sure. Send it to my email address stated above or you can post it on the forums. Make sure you name the message\ thread Psyomaster Ryuken fan works or something along those lines.

Q: Tuke you Mong it's not Psyomaster it's Psychomaster\Pyromaster etc etc
A: No. Psyo is a word i made up for this story. In this universe the terms Psyo and Psyomaster address people who have Extra-sensory abilities.

Q: Do you ever wonder or fear that your pictures and story will come off as (homo)erotic?
And for these stupid questions i blame Frederic Wertham for messing with your fragile little minds.

Q: Who's that TST character?
A: He's practically the mascot character of the Tuke works. For record he will not be appearing in the main story of Psyomaster Ryuken but may or will be making appearances in semi-canon spinoffs.

As of this moment of speaking the TST character peeps may recognised is just known as T.

Q: TST...TSTuke...Hang on is that guy supposed to be you?
A: Good question.
When i first created the Medieval variation of the character the idea was similar to that of picking a character\alter ego like you would in a video game or RPG of sorts. Obviously in time you realise that setting the said relationship between character and creator in concrete would be nothing short of egotism which is frowned on by the masses, including me since i get a lot of that at Uni.
So apart from the fact that i don't have huge muscles, don't shoot lazers or fly, you're hearing me say here and now that he's not meant to be me. True it can be argued that every writer and comic artist puts a part of themselves into the characters that they create but even still that doesn't exactly narrow it down to a specific character.
At the same time i don't want to get rid of the character and rather than pick some fancy name i just settled with TST as it has a catchy tune to it.

Q: Do those fancy Japanese words mean what you say they mean?
A: Truth be told i don't speak Japanese fluently. Only the odd word you pick up in subs.
But other than that i'm quite close. I use translators and the odd dictionary and specific phrasebook when looking this stuff up. It should also be noted i work with Japanese students at Uni whom i check my Jap with and so far they say i'm on track without any particular hitch.

Q: How come you hate Otakus?
A: Because they're Wumbies. Take a browse though here and here and you’ll get the jist of it.

Q: Hey I’m an Otaku >_<…are you insulting me? ;_;
A: I guess I am. Amend your ways or go to hell.

Q: Oi! You’re an Otaku too!
A: You must be fucking joking!
I love the oldschool stuff though, during it's boom period between the early 80s and 90s. Since the likes of Evangelion and Inu Yasha came along to wank things up, everythings been going downhill bigtime.

Q: When does a new artwork\episodes come in?
A: Whenever I’ve finished them.

Q: My browser won't load your site. Eeep!
A: My site opens fine with Internet explorer, Mozilla, Firefox, Msn Explorer and even Applemac's Safari. For any other browser that i haven't tried it on, i just don't know so i can't guarantee but frankly this website was done in something as basic as Frontpage express for goodness sake, so whatever faulty browser you're using must be one sick puppy.
Still, gimme a ring in the above email address anyway if something's up.

Q: Have you considered getting your work published?
A: Yeah i have. In fact i'm already selling my work at conventions and the like although it's in it's infancy at the moment.

Q: What's the best resolution to view this site in?
A: 1024 by 768. My current settings are 1280 by 800.

Q: Do you worship Satan?
A: No.
