Added a bunch of new banners in the links. Admitedly the updates have been muffed a bit as of late, but we seem to be getting back on track. Not only that but at some point in the near future there shall be an update per day to catch up.
In addition, since the Current Book 0 is going to be quite long i might take a break from it at the 48 mark and start the "story so far" segment of Book 4 before returning to 0 again. That should last about 12 pages.
Oh and we won't be redoing as many pages for Book 3, but we're still gonna redialogue Books 1 and 2.

New image in the Image section. We're also adding some links in the Links section as well, including my mate David Bircham's new comic
Alien Ink. Check it out.

Sorted our shit out at last

So yeah 12 pages a month roughly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (this week and next week bit different as i just need to catch up after the scenario on Thursday but we're still keeping on track).

I also pulled off a 6 page short that will be coloured in. I should warn you it'll offend just about everyone. But the point is as opposed to say 16 pages a month we will have 18 pages. Shytzors.
My plan is to have a bare minimum of 12 pages a month but also work on Illustrations and mini comics. Both of which shall involve colour.

Other things on the agenda.
a) For new readers, Book 0 is the best place to start to get a feel of the comic only its not finished yet. Book 1 is there in its entirety but I'm actually going to go back and "re dialogue" most of that comic and book 2 to put it in the current context. It doesn't have an introduction in the same vein Book 0 is trying to achieve either.
b) gonna redo about 10 pages of Book 3
c) as part of book 4 (or the end of book 0 i dunno) I'm going to do a "story so far" segment that retells the first 3 books in bullet points with new info and intros included.

Fixing one last kink before uploading tommorow.

You might notice that i've been posting the same artworks in the comic section as i do in the image section. Mostly to again assure peeps that i'm alive and kicking, and for that webcomix counter down below. But i will be deleting these copies(and probably a bit of the other junk as well) as of next week when the updates resume as normal. Cheers.

And now we have an image section, recycling the sketchbook thing we used to have. This of course means i deleted the old crap because i'm both evil and full of self loathing of anything before 2007. Hyuk Hyuk!

02/06/10:
Just been doing more tweaks to the sites design. Managed to have this same news section to be included in the Comics page as well now. Apparently there was an easier way though than the way i did it based on the Comikaze functions. Since nothing was working for me at the time, plus my Admin is practically AWOL at the moment, I just went ahead and did what was the most comfortable.
The other tweak is adding a favicon to the sites. As far as design goes the website won't change too much, although for the titles i would like to replace that with images with the logo a bit like the old days.

We also have a Merchandise page now in the store section courtesy of CafePress, although it currently represents TukeWorks more than Genma. It's a bit cheaply put together but its delivery rates must be better than my "inhouse" productions so better than a kick in the head. Plus it has got cool stuff there, so if you wanna save me from having to dance for my dinner please pop down there and grab some goods.

As far as comic production goes it seems to be hunky dory. What i've decided on as well is that there will be bonus mini comics in the archive page to help make things easier to digest. In the meantime i will be adding some random crap to ensure everyone i'm still alive. Whilst funnily enough getting rid of some crap.

And yes Bristol was cool. Check the Facebook for more details.

22/05/10: I will be popping down the Bristol Comic Convention tomorrow, more as a guest than as a promoter. I'll have copies of book 01 and book 02 handy but none of the other bits and bobs sadly. But yeah i shall be aiming for a productive good time, meeting other artist and possibly punching the two of three idiots in stupid costumes. Should be fun.

I might be putting Genma Visage on a mock hiatus as i sort my shit out over here. It's not so much that i won't be working on it anymore, quite the opposite. But i won't be doing GV related updates for bit.

Reason being is i want the update rate to not only be more plentiful (4+pages we week) but also have an over 90% chance of being updated on set days during the week rather than less than 50% chance of it happening on various days towards the weekend. The last minute down-when-its-done basis just isn't working when there's lot of crap happening in the present.

To fill in the gaps between then and now, there might be more of the Arseburger series. That's right, Rock Diggler and Incubiman are coming back to town. Also look out for the store that's going up in the next few days. It'll be fragging awesome.

Over and out - Tuke

23/04/10: And a Happy St Georges day to boot!

04/04/10:
Happy Easter

1/04/10: Tweaked around with the menu a bit but for some reason the store button disappeared. My bad. I've Just put it back.

30/03/10: Just got back from the UK Webcomix Thing. You can find the report here . Special thanks to all those that helped out and customers who bought me stuff, and Matt who let me use his extension cord. Will have Sketchbook story thing i did uploaded and new books on sale in the store shortly.

05/03/10: Tweaked the design of the website a bit. Added new opening piccy.

12/02/10 Added some guest comics i did into the archives. For the last 5 pages of Book 3 I'm gonna start uploading tommorow and add one perday until Monday.

03/12/10 Been working on a few things at the mo. First announcement is that "Get in the Ring" will be available in preorder format next week with an official release date available fairly soonish (or available when its announced). The news being that i'm going to complete the Horror punk collection at some point. That is to say apart from Genma Visage and Heatpits i am going to do a remake of THE comic i did 12 years ago that started it all off; Demonic Terror. Stay tuned.

13/01/10: Hope you all had a nice christmas and a happy new years eve \ day. I've been getting over a rotten cold for the past week but otherwise alright. Apart from the next new page or two since i'm near the end of the current book (7 pages after these 3) i'm really tempted to just upload them in bulk when they're all done so that i can finish off the current other things as well. After that will follow a Book 0 for new readers, or something with a genuine introduction\ first issue quality
A friendly reminder of the upcoming UK Webcomix thing of 2010 where there'll be a rough 5+ books available on the table. And also if you want quicker news i'm on Face book (just run a search for Genma Visage and you'll find me there).

15/12/09 Store page adjusted so that the menu is on here as opposed to Myspace. Merry Christmas if i don't get a chance to say it again.

15/11/09: Been dealing with the server problems as of late but have got things back online, along with several new pages and more free time (ha!) to work on the comic. The comic archives also include other comics to spice things up a bit. You'll also notice that store thing on the top right so that you can buy the extended printed versions of the books online as well. Happy days are here again.

20/08/09: Making preparations for a week's holiday this week so no update today. When i get back one can expect double to triple the normal amount that i upload. Will also upload some older comics on the archive screen such as the Incubiman short i did prior to GV.
All the best and thanks- Tuke
